Science Governance and Scientometrics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering the issues of S&T policy formation and implementation, scientometrics, R&D in organizations, government support for innovation. It also publishes research on the legal matters of scientific and innovation activities and covers the results of monitoring the S&T sector development: facilities and resources improvement, research staff reproduction, research infrastructure development. Scientometrics is addressed both in terms of theory and in the aspect of its practical application as a tool to implement the government S&T policy.
The mission of the journal is to disseminate to the public, including its target audience (researchers, postgraduates, lecturers, students and all those interested in S&T policy development), the results of research in the field of science management and scientometrics at national, regional and institutional levels.
Our challenging task is to be a platform for communication of scientists, experts and representatives of organizations involved in and interested in the selection of public policy tools, the forecast of the impact of the tools used and the assessment of the situation in science using scientometric indicators.
The journal accepts the following for publication: original articles, translations of published articles from non-Russian language journals (with the consent of the right holder for the translation and publication), reviews, events reports, and book reviews.
